Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) December 10, 2007 -- My Dream Home Registry announced today that it has established a plan for lasting contributions to the Fuller Center for Housing. The online gift registry service has committed to give 1 percent of all revenue to the non-profit organization.

The Fuller Center for Housing was started in 2005 by Millard and Linda Fuller, the original founders of Habitat for Humanity. Their mission is simple, "The Fuller Center for Housing, faith driven and Christ centered, promotes collaborative and innovative partnerships with individuals and organizations in an unrelenting quest to provide adequate shelter for all people in need worldwide."

As an online gift registry service centered on the home, My Dream Home Registry saw a similarity in the service they offer consumers and a unique way to assist a very worthwhile cause. The on-line gift registry provides a platform for friends and family to come together and help with those big-ticket items like appliances, paint and home remodeling costs. In essence, providing a way for people to collaborate to help build their dream home.

"The home remodel, bridal registry and baby registry markets are huge," says My Dream Home Registry's co-founder Brian Waspi, "all three are responsible for almost $170 billion a year." My Dream Home Registry is aiming not only to capture some of that market, but to direct it toward a more noble pursuit. By contributing based on a percentage of revenue, My Dream Home Registry is ensuring that its contribution to the Fuller Center will continue to grow, and remain uninfluenced by profits or other fluctuating parameters of the business.

As the relationship between the two organizations continues, MyDreamHomeRegistry.Com is looking forward to finding new and innovative ways to assist the less fortunate build their dream homes too.
